‘World needs India’: EU Ambassador Hervé Delphin bids farewell

Attended the farewell reception of His Excellency Hervé Delphin, Ambassador of the European Union to India, as he concludes his diplomatic tenure in New Delhi.

Ambassador Delphin’s tenure coincided with a consequential phase in India–EU relations, marked by deeper engagement across trade, technology, connectivity, security and strategic cooperation.

A significant development has been the India–EU Free Trade Agreement, whose negotiations made progress during his tenure. Ambassador Delphin played an important role in advancing the dialogue and building momentum around this economic partnership.
