Attended the National Day celebrations of the Republic of Poland on 2 November 2026, hosted by Dr. Piotr Świtalski, Chargé d’Affaires of Poland to India, and Mrs. Anna Świtalska.
The celebrations were held at the historic Polish Residence in New Delhi, a building of special significance in India's history. It was here that Dr. B. R. Ambedkar lived from 1947 to 1951 while serving as independent India's first Law Minister and playing a pivotal role in the framing of the Indian Constitution.
The evening featured a delightful jazz concert, followed by a reception attended by members of the diplomatic community and distinguished guests. The historic setting added a special dimension to the celebration, bringing together Poland's cultural heritage and an important chapter of India's constitutional history.
Warm greetings to the people of Poland on their National Day.
