On July 19, I attended the Diplomatic Meet & Greet hosted by The Diplomatic Club at The Lalit, New Delhi—an evening of conversations and connections, held alongside the live screening of the FIFA World Cup Final.
Organised by Dr. Murthy Devarabhotla and others of The Diplomatic Club, the gathering brought together Ambassadors, High Commissioners, diplomats, business leaders and strategic experts. The conversations moved easily from international affairs, economic cooperation and geopolitics to the big question of the evening: Spain or Argentina?
By late night, the answer was clear—Spain were the world champions.
